About The staff – our most important asset!

All our staff are fully qualified to a minimum of NVQ Level 2 and the majority are actually qualified to Level 3. In addition senior members of staff are working towards either Level 4 or Foundation Degree qualifications.

Furthermore the staff hold additional qualifications in First Aid, Food Safety, Manual Handling, Special Needs & Playwork.

All staff undergo a full Enhanced CRB Disclosure prior to commencing employment with us.

Every child is assigned a Keyperson who will be responsible for the developmental checks and monitoring that every child has whilst in our care. Each child then has a Keyperson file in which we record their achievements and milestones and which a parent/carer can have access to at any time.

In partnership with Kirklees Early Years Service our staff receive regular training updates, attend network meetings and have many opportunities to fine tune and/or develop their skills in childcare.
