The Counting House received recognition just recently for the quality and standard for the food that we provide for the children. The Kirklees Healthy Choice Award recognises local businesses who provide food on their premises, with checks being made for quality of food, nutritional balance, 5-a-day, healthy eating, food preparation and health and hygiene.

We are delighted to announce that both our settings achieved the Gold level standard for the award, scoring the maximum points possible. Confirming to you as parents that the quality of the menu’s we provide to your children and the healthy, nutritional and well balanced diet they are receiving whilst in our settings.

For the attention of all parents at The Counting House at Heckmondwike

As I know most of you are well aware we have limited parking space at the Heckmondwike setting. Clearly this is beyond our control as we share the space down the side of Nursery with two other businesses. Added to which Market Street is a busy road and parking on the roadside is equally difficult.

With all of this in mind I am politely requesting that parents do show some degree of patience and understanding with one another at picking-up and dropping-off times. I appreciate that it does get busy, but as long as we park sensibly & fairly with consideration for others we should have very few problems.
