Annual Invoices issued 1st September each year:
Parent’s no longer receive a monthly invoice, just an annual one, unless there have been any changes during the month or changes going forward. Parent’s also receive an annual statement with their invoice, based on their current requirements, showing how the fees are calculated.
Payment may be made weekly or monthly via cash, cheque or credit/debit card.
One months notice in writing is required if you wish to relinquish your child’s place at Nursery.
The booking fee/deposit of £50 is returned to you if you have given Nursery the correct amount of notice.
If your child is attending nursery on a part-time basis, any extra sessions required will be invoiced and payable in the month after they occur. There are no refunds for absenteeism.
Nursery Education Funding (NEF)
There is government funding to provide free early education for two, three and four year old children.
All three and four year old children are eligible for up to 15 hours childcare per week, from the first term after their third birthday. Some two-year old children can qualify for childcare funding but this is subject to individual and specific criteria.
NEF can only be claimed for 38 weeks per year and therefore you will be required to pay full fees for any other weeks your child attends nursery.
Application Process
Visit your preferred nursery first of all!
Once you are sure it is the right place for you and your child please enquire as to what availability we have with the Nursery Manager.
Once this has been agreed download application form from the website (or collect a hard copy from the nursery) and complete accordingly. This then can be returned to the appropriate nursery with the deposit payment.
Policies & Procedures
We have an extensive series of policies and procedures within the nursery that are amended and update on an annual basis or more frequently if required.
These policies are for the benefit of children parents and staff alike. Covering such areas as:
safeguarding & child protection; children’s behaviour; equality & diversity; compliments & complaints; health & safety and curriculum policy, to name but a few.
Copies of any and all of those can be found easily accessible in nursery for parents to look at or specific copies can be provided to Parents.
